The Berlin native Carsten Gollnick designs high-quality products and aesthetic product systems in an industrial context. His aim is the creation of a tangible, aesthetic culture of distinctive objects. Beyond the creation of functional and design qualities, his objective is to consciously shape all the dimensions of the user’s relationship to an object.

Since 1989, Carsten Gollnick has worked closely with Carl Mertens and has designed several products that have received many awards. Among others, he has designed the PALIO and CERTO flatware series, the HAMPTON line of bar products and the GINKGO salad serving sets.

His customer portfolio comprises reputable Office, Dining and Living firms, including b.i.c. Belgium International Carpets, CONMOTO, Montblanc, Carl Mertens, JAB Anstoetz, Ligne Roset, and Gebr. Aicham, ANTA Leuchten, Melitta Systemservice, Schönwald Porzellan, Carpet Concept, WMF AG, Arzberg, Skantherm, Mahlkönig, Stawert GmbH. Virtually every prominent design institute and museum has bestowed awards on his products for their excellent design attributes. Carsten Gollnick has received the renowned Red Dot design award and the Good Design Award, Chicago.
