Ameico is happy to inform you of its new U.S. representation of nanimarquina natural fiber, contemporary rugs from Barcelona, Spain.  Nanimarquina is the 2006 winner of Spain's prestigious National Design Award.

Nanimarquina was founded in 1987 as a brand dedicated to the design and edition of rugs and textiles.  Since the beginning, the company has been paying special attention to research into raw materials and manufacturing processes.  Nanimarquina rugs stand out through their striking designs and vivid colors.  In 1993, the company set up its own manufacturing in Northern India where the traditional crafts reach levels of quality that are rare in the West.  Nanimarquina is a brand in constant evolution which, above all, is always aware that there are no more borders between art and design.  All carpets carry the Kaleen label, which guarantees that no child labor is used.  Nanimarquina is a collaborator of the important Care & Fair organization.
