 Defne KOZ, from Ankara Turkey, worked for a number of years for Sottsass Associati before establishing her own design studio in Milan. Her designs are now being manufactured by such companies as WMF, Fontanta Arte, Authentics and Alessi.
Liquids Glass Collection is based on the concept of designing each glass to be used for a different liquid. Every single piece of the "Liquids" Glass Collection is completely hand-made, and is manufactured using iron moulds, hand-made wooden tools and mouth-blowing techniques. |

Soraya Bracelet and Ring
Queens and Kings Collection by Arik Levy,

Named after the wife of an Ottoman sultan,
the gorgeous curved and flowing shape of the Soraya bracelets and rings are made
of mirror polished stainless steel coated with titanium for added strength and
shine to its flexible wavy bands. Soraya is produced in France using a
technically-challenging process taken to a high level of craftsmanship.
Modern, resilient, versatile are adjectives that describe both this jewelry and
its owner.
Born in Tel Aviv in 1963, Arik Levy has
quickly risen in his field to become one of the most interesting and varied
industrial designers in the 21st century. Arik graduated in 1991 from the
Art Center College of Design in Switzerland and moved to Paris where he is
immensely active a a designer and creator of award-winning products and
installations, including Designer of the Year in 2007. He is a member of
Ldesign group with Pippo Lionni since 1997.
Arik has seen work produced by numerous
companies, including Gaia & Gino, Baleri Italia, Ligne Roset, Materialise, and
Baccarat. His designs may be found in the collection of the Museum of
Modern Art, New York and the Jerusalem Museum. |

unique candle holders, menorahs and mezuzah by hand in her studio in Brooklyn,
NY. The concrete used contrasts beautifully with the mirror-polished
stainless steel insets. The Hanukah Menorah consists of 9 individual
candleholders, allowing a variety of exciting configurations.

 Anything more would be unnecessary, anthing less impossible. This is the maxim of Bruno Ninber van Eyben whose oeuvre is characterised by quiet dialogues between form, function, technique and material.
From a minimalist point of departure Ninaber van Eyben devises pragmatic solutions to create functional objects while preserving a poetic quality in the result.
His work is included in important design collections among which is the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Ingenious design for removing the top
from a soft or hard boiled egg. Simply put the cooked egg into an egg Take cup,
position CLACK on the top of the egg, and drop the weighted ball twice “clack”.
CLACK perforates the shell so that it can be easily removed. Bon Appetit!
